About Me
Dan Goldstein
Thanks for checking out my Web site. I'm an experienced financial and broadcast journalist with nearly 15 years in the business, covering some of the most important environmental and investigative stories of the past decade. From the Gulf Oil spill and Alaskan oil drilling to the Enron meltdown and the California power crisis, I have done my best to bring viewers and readers the true inside story.
I love television and the Web for news as it gives the viewer the ability to experience the story in all dimensions, not just one or two. My news philosophy is simple: assume nothing, believe what you see, not see what you believe, approach a story with an open mind, not an agenda, don't be afraid to tell the viewers what they need to know, not what they want to hear. Above all, be truthful, accurate and give the viewers the facts and let them make up their own mind.
My broadcast work has been featured on ABC affiliates KABC in Los Angeles, and WJLA in Washington DC as well as FOX Television stations and Bloomberg Television. Check out my LinkedIn profile as well as my resume. You can also follow me on Twitter at DJGInvestigates
Investigative and breaking news coverage are my specialties. My stories have appeared in the Washington Post, the New York Times, the Huffington Post, and other national and world newspapers. I'm a proud member of Investigative Reporters and Editors. I was born and raised in the Bay Area and now make my home near Washington D.C. in Frederick, Maryland.

I've also been fortunate to have the opportunity to serve my community as a volunteer firefighter and emergency medical technical for the better part of a decade. The experience is not for everyone, but its given me a unique perspective that I try to bring to my reporting.
